At&t has started a cruise package so you can use your phone while cruising without incurring all the roaming fees, etc I have an android phone and carnival blocks wifi. I was just pricing it, and it is cheaper than the social media package on carnival

After talking to an at&t rep over chat, it sounds like the at&t package is only good for talk and text at sea, but if i want to go to cnn and read an article, or check the weather, i have to use carn. Expand not clear if it connects to the wifi or thru cellular after reading the info I have att and have only used the daily international on land service at $10/24 hours. We are cruising (with celebrity) with 8 family members and want to be able to text or call each other while on the ship

It’s $100 for a month of unlimited talk and text and you can make calls from the ship I’m going to be on anthem for 11 days next month and i really prefer to be able to check in at home once a day This is quite a bit cheaper than the internet plans royal offers
The att basic cruise package is really easy to go over on your data The cruise plus package is $100, and gives you more data but again you can go over if not careful Second person is $5 a day if needed If ports are back to back it.
When i get to a port i just turn on my data and take phone off airplane mode, and get charged $10 for 24 hours
Starting in april 2025, at&t revamped its international land and cruise packages I never used the at&t cruise package before because i was concerned about the data overages
