Update from what went down earlier Just called waves tech support and they found that, as a result of updating waves central to v.11 some of my legacy waves v.9.2 vst3 products became no longer supported w/ the v.9.6 vst3 waveshell (the vst2 plugs of those same products were scanned ok) Only to find that it gets stuck at the first hurdle, scanning my plugins It's not the same plugin every time, so it seems like more of a bug than an issue with my plugins, which are scanned okay.
In my case there turned out to be a mismatch between waveshell 5 and ie8 Rolling back to ie7 solved the issue on xp Upgrading the browser broke the vst? As soon as they are put in their own seperate folders, all works perfectly

I discovered that the waves folder on my pc was taking up almost 10gb of space on my system drive
Seems that they accumulate a lot of stuff here Strangely enough, i found it at c:\program files (x86)\waves So i moved the entire folder to my secondary drive, and replaced it with a directory j. It can be even worse
